This is what Lily's trash can looked like tonight.
Sad. I know.
I've honestly convinced myself that waking up to deal with tummy aches will be easier than candy rationing.
I better get a head start on sleep! Be sure to tell me how you handle the halloween candy at your house!
Oh, and don't think my standards are too low...the wrappers did make it into the trashcan! ;)

I'm speechless. ;) A friend of mine paid her kids {per piece}. That's a novel idea, but I'm afraid mine would latch on to the candy since we don't bring it into the house. It's really for their {MY} own good. hehe...
Yeah, I'm with you. I too gave up on the rationing this morning. All that was left in the bowl were smarties, a whole lot of smarties. This morning I just said have at them. The bowl is empty and I am happy! I'd rather live without candy in the house than the constant begging for some.
Um, my husband eats it all haha!
I hid it.
It is in the cabinet where I have also hid the red car they fight over, a stuffed snake they beat each other with, the crayons and Lord knows what else.
I'm surprised this cabinet has not made a blog post.
If they ever find all their missing stuff at once I may loose my mind.
h-mama! that reminds me, our dentist was paying 10 cents per piece...can't believe i forgot that!
OMGoodness! Don't hate me, but I think Alise has asked for maybe ONE piece of her Halloween candy. It's all still sitting on our kitchen table. Now, about June of next year? She'll be asking me where all her Halloween candy went!
OH I LOVE THIS. Seriously, I am so there with you. I might have to do this. I am so, so, so tired of rationing candy. I want it gone. Good for you- and I mean that.
Will you Pray for Sarah? Thanks.
Holy pickles! I just did the VERY same thing the other night! I said "just eat it!!" & they did! LOL Never in my life have I done that. :)

I let me kids choose 5 pieces of candy from Halloween, parades, etc. We send the rest to a mission in Africa where kids don't get a lot of candy so it truly is a treat. My kids don't even bat an eye now when I tell them to pick out their five pieces.
Have a great day,
Jackie
