Why am I here posting about chicken again?
Well, it seems a ton of people had a negative experience when trying to redeem those coupons. Apparently they had to change up the way they were being printed for tracking purposes and then the site pretty much stopped working. Some people who were able to get them printed were turned away if they weren't printed in color. And others were given fried chicken instead of grilled chicken. Oh dear!
Pretty frustrating stuff when Mama didn't put the hamburger out to thaw and was thinking she had the night off cooking and dish duty.
Anyway, I couldn't find any info on KFC's website, but Oprah's website shared this:
*****************************
Questions About Redeeming Your Coupon?
If you downloaded coupons and they were not accepted at a KFC restaurant:
- Please call 1-800-CALL-KFC.
- A KFC Customer Service representative will assist you and also take the information about your experience and follow up with the restaurant.
- All the PDF coupons downloaded from Oprah.com on the evening of May 5 have the same bar code.
- Subject to the terms and conditions of the coupon and instructions on Oprah.com, these coupons will be accepted by participating KFC restaurants in the U.S.
- Please email KFC.PublicRelations@KFC.com with any problems concerning your KFC coupon.
My personal advice would be to wait until the end of the promotion when they've got all this figured out. Good luck!

Your cracking me up with this chicken! Sorry you did not get a night off from cooking. Phil was not home last night, and I was actually in the mood to cook! Go figure! I just did not have anyone to cook for =( Soon I'll have two more little mouths to feed! Woo Hoo! Happy Thursday!
Hi Colored With Memories :)
I received my coupon yesterday from a friend who alerted me to the deal.
I might just drive over to the local KFC and see if they accept it out of curiousity.
Independent of any negative publicity I can't even comprehend the free publicity that KFC is receiving. The word Kentucky Fried Chicken is being said and thought about millions of times. Some negative thoughts, some positive, but people are talking about it. That's all KFC or any corporation can ask for.

OR Mama could just have the Daddy take her to Johnny Carino's for a free dinner (for her) tonight or tomorrow night! :) http://www.carinos.com/promo/2009/05-MomsDay/
Well, thanks to you alerting me to it, we enjoyed a free KFC meal last night! :) And they did give us grilled chicken. They were out of coleslaw though - the place was SLAMMED - and we went at almost 9:00 p.m.! Who knew?
Anyway - thanks again for the heads up, Kerry!
Our KFC rejected the coupons and took down our address instead. Then gave us free drinks for our troubles. They said it was a corporate decision, though, because their were riots in some of the stores since people weren't necessarily getting the chicken pieces they wanted.
Fun stuff.
for that final "Raincheck" verdict, it sounds like KFC is banking on the fact that people hate filling out forms and therefore won't do it
